To lay down your own life so that your children will live without fear of the grasp of tyranny is something noble...but when an entire sea is red with blood, the sand littered with bone, flesh and metal, and the air filled with the smell of death and gunpowder, it's not noble anymore - it's just mind-numbing. Those men should not be never forgotten and forever honoured, for we owe them more than we think. Whether you're American, British, Japanese, German, Romanian or whatnot, still reserve a brief moment on the 6th of June to remember them. Makes me imagine a group of good friends enrolled in the army saying goodbye to their families and their country, and boarding the bus for the airport. They have smirks and smiles on their faces because they feel happy that they will help protect their country, and because they're still young, ar joking about how they'll kill all the baddies and get back home as heroes; But then the bus arrives at the airport, the guys see a landed military plane, officers saluting, and soldiers carrying out caskets draped with the U.S flag and a crown of flowers on them - and then their smiles wipe out, and they realize thatwar is no matter of jokes, and that they might come home - heroes or not nonetheless - in the same draped caskets. Nice song, it has that "there's no joking about this" feel to it.

There are few worlds that could properly describe this piece. I could feel the death, the pain, the suffering...the void. Felt as if I woke up from a terrible nightmare, sighed in the relief, but then raised my head and found myself gazing at a fiery wasteland that laid before me as far as the eye can see, at black horizon with a bloodred moon casting its unholy light over a sea of bones and cadavers, the chilling shrieks of ghouls and banished souls echoing in the night like bloodthirsty calls for revenge and laments of pain - the world lies crumbled and turned into hell, and I alone am the only to bear witness to the horrors. Greaat song, has a deeply suggestive dark theme to it, and gives the listener the chance to build a maental image according to the emotions expressed by the song.

Hmmm...

Immediately made me think about the BSG episode "Exodus from New Caprica", and at 1:30 when there's that faded gong on the background, I could picture the "Pegasus" colliding with the basestar then exploding into a fireball. Hats-off to you for this song.

Needs more international fame. I hope you know that if this goes into the right hands, you'll need more pockets in your pants. Awesome song right here, has a tense atmosphere and a rapid beat, I really can't decide if I can place it in an aerial WW2 dogfight (like the Battle for England) or a ground skirmish between tanks and infantry. Definitely a download and a 5 from me.
